About PRYT Practitioner

Jenni received her Bachelor’s degree in Language Studies at the University of California at Santa Cruz in the year of 2000. A love of adventure led her and her husband to Seattle in 2002 where she dabbled in a variety of jobs that encouraged her interest in psychology and counseling. At the same time, she and her husband discovered they were soon to have a baby, and yoga became a source of calm and strength as she approached her son’s birth. Since then, yoga has been a powerful tool that helps her to cope with the daily challenges and stresses of life.

Jenni was introduced to Phoenix Rising following the birth of her son Kaleb in the winter of 2003. Faced with the complex emotions that come with being a new parent, she sought out a form of alternative therapy that could help her to understand her new identity. Having little idea of what to expect in her session, she was amazed by the connection between her mind and body. The experience of being heard in a safe and non-judgmental environment, while being gently touched and moved, was just what she needed to open up to thoughts and emotions that had long been buried and forgotten. The following year, she began her training to become a Certified Phoenix Rising Practitioner so that she too, could offer this gift to others.

Jenni feels that Phoenix Rising is a valuable tool for her to explore her grief, fear and anger — emotions that many of us learn to put aside, and inside. She is dedicated to bringing the same profound presence she has received, into sessions with her own clients. This presence enables each of us to go within and begin to explore what is beneath.

Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy

A private session is a great time to focus on yourself in a non-judgmental and safe environment. Perhaps you seek relief from stress, or would like to explore deeper emotional issues. The combination of gentle, supported yoga postures and client-centered dialogue facilitates not only physical, but also emotional release. Every session is different and there are no expectations.

Each session is 1½ hours in length and costs $90. If finances are a concern, arrangements can be made! It is Jenni’s intention that this form of therapy is made accessible to everyone.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing as your body will be stretching! It is advised that you eat a small snack before your session. If you tend to get cold, you may want to bring an extra layer, but blankets are always available.

Available Session Times

Sessions are scheduled on the weekends from 10 a.m. on. However, if Saturday or Sunday do not fit your schedule, a weekday evening may be requested. All sessions currently take place at Jenni's home studio in Redmond, and directions will be provided upon setting up an appointment.

How To Schedule a Session

Please call or e-mail to speak beforehand and to schedule a session. If confidentiality is important to you, e-mail is a preferred option. Phone consultations are a good time to ask questions and become more prepared for your experience.

I look forward to speaking with you, and welcome to Phoenix Rising!

Be Well & Namaste.
