Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy was an amazing experience. It helped bring my awareness to the connection between the mind and body. I learned how to listen to the subtle messages my body sends that often get ignored. I would highly recommend Phoenix Rising for anyone wanting to become more aware of their bodies or simply anyone looking to relieve stress.
— Amy Dunn,
Graduate student

Sheri's sensitivity as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist helped me to explore my humanness. Because I chose the topic and the pace at which I worked, I felt self determined and empowered. The action steps that I chose at the end of each session were a particularly powerful part of the process.  Many thanks! In light and Love,
— Ruth Ann
yoga teacher, artist, author

Even though I understood what the Phoenix Rising session would entail, my session was one big surprise . . . I was surprised how far I could stretch with assistance . . . all the emotions that surfaced . . . and how deeply peaceful I felt after the session. Sheri is an amazing facilitator whose warm and comfortable presence made this experience possible.
— Andrea
public school teacher

Sheri's gentle nature and steadfast support made my Phoenix Rising Yoga
Therapy session one to remember. The session was rejuvenating and enlightening. Thank you, Sheri!

PRYT Individual Sessions
Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is an individual, 90-minute session using supported yoga postures and dialogue to help you explore what's happening in your body and in your life. During the process, you will be guided to listen deeply to your body, mind and spirit and to notice how those truths "show up" in your day to day life. No yoga experience is needed.

PRYTWhat is "The Edge"?
The edge is a place of mystery. It lies just beyond what we know and are comfortable with.  But, not so far beyond that we are paralyzed with fear.

My experience is that physical and emotional edges are important to Phoenix Rising work because they lead us into our own mystery. They allow us to explore the forsaken parts of ourselves. Those parts that lie just beyond the obvious — in the stiff and shadowy areas of the Self. With skillful guidance, "The Edge" can be a place of incredible discovery, healing and growth.
