Yoga Therapy is practiced in many different ways. Why are clients, yoga teachers, and students drawn to the Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy approach?
Who are our clients?
After receiving Phoenix Rising sessions clients often report improved physical well being, greater emotional stability, clearer thinking, and a capacity for living life to the fullest.
This makes Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy (PRYT) an effective modality for supporting healing related to the myriad of so called "lifestyle" disorders and psycho-emotional issues. Clients often report the disappearance of physical pain associated with these conditions after receiving sessions or classes or attending groups guided by Phoenix Rising practitioners.
Who takes our training?
Yoga students and teachers, as well as psychotherapists and medical/health professionals who enroll in our Training Programs are interested in a mind-body-emotion-spirit (kosha) approach to yoga therapy. They also want to empower their clients. The unique PRYT process makes our approach to yoga therapy something more than a treatment or a prescription. It offers valuable life-serving tools that create fundamental change at the core of one's being. Our practitioners also want a successful career and the support offered to our graduates though our referral network and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy practitioner support services.
"Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy is an holistic healing art. It invites presence and awareness, rather than prescribe treatments. Using age-old yogic approaches to deeper presence and awareness we are able to know ourselves more fully. Out of this knowing, we are more easily moved to embrace the opportunity for change, growth and enhanced well being in body, feelings, thought, and spirit."
